FSD, Aging Hardware, and the Decade-Old Tesla Question

I’m not saying users shouldn’t expect FSD to just work as Elon Musk promised. But it’s unrealistic to expect a 7-year-old computer on wheels to keep up with every software change. Seven years is a long time in tech, and if anything, the drawn-out wait for true FSD has worn down expectations around personal autonomous driving.

Next year will mark a full decade of Model 3 deliveries — the first batch of these once-cool toys is about to turn ten. Hard to say whether they’ll age better than traditional petrol or diesel cars.
