Don’t take #AI too seriously, certainly not yet. It doesn’t need to be perfect to be useful or fun

Not saying that BBC shouldn’t care about the AI summary showing false “information”. In the ideal world, we want all automated summaries to be accurate too, to take it down all the way to the minimal number of words required to convey the correct message with no possibility for misinterpretations.

But until we have such super-intelligence which Sam Altman is aiming for, Apple AI summaries, marked with a symbol before summarised text, can get things wrong. Deal with it.
