Procreate’s CEO is taking a strong stance against AI, claiming that it merely steals from human creativity. It will be intriguing to see how this controversy unfolds. Can he be right, and will his users remain loyal to his AI-less app? In Procreate, every line and pixel is drawn by hand. (Oh, I am sure Apple Pencil have some smart “AI” in it to do palm rejection, pressure detection. Oh, but that is system, not his app. He would process all these input RAW and give you every bit and byte of it.)
