Nvidia didn’t want to sell more GPU for Ethereum mining? Because it was “unfair” for gamers who want to buy most expensive GPU for gaming ONLY.
They said it wasn’t just a software driver solution to stop Ethereum, but now it is proving that was total BS. Can you really trust them for secure computing when they can’t even control their own hardware design (or PR department telling lies?).
Regardless, now that Ethereum is just a few months away from moving to Proof of Stake, they won’t be needing expensive GPU anymore for mining. Time to unlock it and allow every last or late miner to get in the game.
