Google did this deliberately? #GooglePhotos have a maximum resolution of 4920 x 3264 pixels, perfect for Nexus. #SamsungS6 is 5312 x 2988!

Previous to the #GooglePhotos announcement, only photos over 2048x2048 and videos over 15 minutes count toward the storage limit anyway.
