Why is it so hard to hard auto #darkmode on #Windows11?

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/enable-auto-darklight-mode-on-windows-11/6eedeff9-47f7-4822-a872-84dc08a6e5d0 iOS, Android, MacOS, all have auto dark mode. Why is it so hard for Windows to just copy this?

It took #macOS and #iOS 2-3 years for most key apps supporting dark mode. Might be a little longer for Windows and Android. Still waiting for most websites to do the same. davy.dev/darkmode
