I know most people don’t sync their #iPhone to computer, but this progress bar really sucks, totally not inline with any #Apple Interface guidelines to manage user expectations. You can’t never tell if it will take minutes or hours to to complete the sync. pic.twitter.com/jnakhqadIQ

Back in 2003 when #SteveJobs first introduced #Safari, he said they built it for speed. Just ran a test, same machine on Brave and Safari, 44.6 runs/min vs 68.3 runs/min. Safari is still fast. browserbench.org/Speedometer2.0/

#macOSMonterey Live Text is great, not that we haven’t seen OCR before, but not as well integrated to the system and all done locally. I won’t trust #Google or #Facebook getting all text from my photo library without pushing me more ads. apple.com/macos/monterey…

Finally got #macOSMonterey installed. Lucky that I kept my original #MacPro 2013 SSD. Had to reinstall old SSD to pass verification for firmware update process. Apple is getting rather careful with hardware checks. apple.com/macos/monterey/
