You got paid to do a job, the company doesn’t need your agreement to all matters and leaking any information you disagree with isn’t even protest, it’s just sabotage. If you think the company has done anything illegal, there are whistleblowing laws to allow for legal disclosure.
In the good old days, all business information was assumed to be private by all staff. If you leaked the information and were found out, you would be fired. That’s why there is a Public Relations role or department, which will even arrange for situations where they want something ‘leaked’ to the press.
