It’s funny how US Gov keeps trying to make it difficult for their own companies to win, all in the name of fairness. Ignoring that users actually had the choice and chose to use Chrome over other browsers. Winners are forced to be “nice” and “open” to other competitors? All (small) business owners should share their resources if they are successful?
Without thinking back to, if it wasn’t for the DoJ, there probably wouldn’t be such a successful Chrome. They forced Microsoft to “give up” their Internet Explorer ambitions, so there was a gap in the market. But Microsoft is smart, they held out, waited for years until Chrome is the leader, then basically skinned Chrome as Edge. Google can learn from this.
